Time to Slam

August 20, 2010

The wait is over. Today 14 teams hit the river in their quest to become the 2010 South Platte Pro-Am Carp Slam Champions. You don’t have to be competing to enjoy the event and support a great cause. Head down to the river to watch the competition or join us at Fuel Cafe for lunch. Unfortunately, Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper will not be able to attend the event, but we will have Jeff Shoemaker, Executive Director of The Greenway Foundation speaking about the past, the present and the future of Denver’s South Platte River. Then starting at 5:30 join us for the awards and afterparty featuring tall tales and a silent auction.
